Kevin Cain was personaly trained in Dux Ryu Ninjutsu and Dux FASST by Hanshi Frank W. Dux and Renshi Sky Benson. "I am 100% behind Kevin Cain" - Frank Dux Dux Ryu Cain Family NinJuTe Kempo is the Dux Ryu methodology as understood and taught by Kevin Cain. Dux Cain Ryu is the evolution of of NinJutsu, Jujitsu, empty hand, Kempo, and modern combatives. Dux Cain Ryu is not limited by history. We do not claim to be keepers of a lost Ninja Ryu. However we do use the concepts of the past, and update them for modern application. Evolution is what Hanshi Dux teaches. Evolution is Dux Ryu Cain Family NinJuTe Kempo! The name NinJuTe Kempo(TM) is an acronym that stands for Ninjutsu Arts, JuJitsu Arts, Karate Arts and Shaolin Kempo arts. However, as with any name, there are limitations. NinJuTe Kempo(TM) is a multidisciplinary approach to martial arts training and survival skills. An important factor in the development of this art, is that it was not created as a mere conglomeration of several varied and unrelated technique, but was designed over many years as a complete merger and integration of the pieces missing from a "complete" martial science . Thus forming the unique system of NinJuTe Kempo(TM) .
Nin- (Dux Ryu Ninjutsu) The Nin in NinJuTe Kempo(TM) is based on the concepts of Dux Ryu Ninjutsu and Dux FASST. The word “Ninja” denotes one whose spirit is as sharp as the edge of a blade. The Nin aspect of our system is the contemporary evolution of ninjutsu – what ninja training from 1500s Japan looks like in 21st Century America. Obviously, fights are different in modern America than they were five hundred years ago in old Japan. In Ninjutsu, we train three aspects of our person: our MIND for wisdom, our BODY for strength, and our SPIRIT for tranquility. After the student has become proficient in hand to hand, hand to weapon self reliance, he/she is introduced to, the art of escape: climbing, herbology, emergency first aid, acupressure, water safety, outdoor survival skills and a host of other rewarding and enjoyable skills, all of which can be employed in self-defense so that one can go anywhere in the world and, under the most extreme conditions, survive. As a teaching device, NinJuTe Kempo uses the five elements as a guide to the five core response orientations to inner and outer conflict. Void- formless potential of creativity - the wisdom of seeing the big picture Earth- command & abundance - the wisdom of seeing the value in every situation Water- resourcefulness & science - the wisdom of knowing what is truly true Fire- artistry & connection - the wisdom of knowing what is more effective and what is less Wind- freedom & service - the wisdom of being able to produce results Ju- (Jujitsu) The Ju of NinJuTe Kempo(TM) is a fighting system that employs a wide range of techniques - including strikes, kicks, throws, joint locks and choking. In JuJitsu There are various ways of gaining victory, such as throwing heavily on the ground; choking up the throat; holding down on the ground or pushing to a wall in such a way that an opponent cannot rise up or move freely; twisting or bending arms, legs or fingers in such a way that an opponent cannot bear the pain, etc. Jujutsu relies on leverage, timing, and proper technique to overcome larger and stronger opponents. Our system draws its techniques from modern styles, including Judo, Jiu-jitsu, American Shoot and Catch - as - Catch Can Wrestling. Te- (Dan-Te) The TE in NinJuTe Kempo(TM) translates, as Hand in Japanese. Te is a martial art that uses weaponless techniques such as punching and kicking to overcome the opponentThe development of Kara-te began in Okinawa, an island south of Japan. Okinawans travelled to China, where they learnt the Chinese martial arts. On their return to Okinawa they set about blending their own martial arts (initially simply called Te, “Hands”) with what they had learnt in China and called it To-De, Chinese Hands. Our system includes Dux Ryu kickboxing, Dux Ryu MMA, Dan-Te, Thai Boxing, hard style Kara-Te, Jeet Kune Do, Krav Maga and Vale Tudo defensive and offensive striking techniques into the "street-effective" Te portion of NinJuTe Kempo(TM) Kempo (Shaolin Kempo) Kempo in NinJuTe Kempo(TM) stands for Shaolin Kempo, a complete fighting system of offensive and defensive methods, with equal emphasis of striking techniques with the hands and feet, immobilization and controls, projections and take downs; as well as weaponry, various spiritual and healing arts. Kempo contains 108 number combinations (through 10th degree black belt) as well as the techniques of the animal method, weapons defense and weapons training. The only true fighting systems are those where there are no rules applied. From the books of the Han dynasty, we learn "Nothing is impossible to a willing mind." And it is from this saying that we can derive the upper principles of NinJuTe Kempo(TM) . Shaolin animal method is one of the foundations of NinJuTe Kempo(TM) . The "Shaolin" animals are based on the movments of the animals that were familiar to the Shaolin monks: Tiger, Leopard, Crane, Snake, Preying Mantis, Bear, Monkey, Eagle and Dragon. Tiger Leopard Crane Snake Praying Mantis Praying Mantis is a combination of a set of sophisticated deflections, counters, and grappling movements with Monkey style footwork (see Monkey style, below). The fundamental strategy of Praying Mantis is to wait patiently for an opening (often in the form of an attack), then tie the opponent's arms with a grappling technique and strike into soft areas and nerve centers. Monkey The monkey uses a lot of throat, eye and groin strikes as well as tumbling and falling techniques. It incorporates a lot of false steps to give the appearance it is defenseless and uses a lot of off balance strikes. The Monkey is an advanced method that demands much of its practitioners. The monkey assumes that the opponent is larger and stronger, and compensates by making it hard to reach or hold onto its practitioner. The Monkey stylist jumps, flips, rolls, and climbs to avoid his attacker. He attacks from peculiar angles, and contorts his body to strike when the opponent believes himself safe. the Monkey likes to tease their opponents into rash action and take advantage of their rashness. Bear The bear represents power, fearless determination, supernatural strength, and ability to resist pain. The fight of the bear is to take pain, to give pain. The bear knows only one direction, and that is forward. It fights to the death. Eagle Dragon
